Will it leave streaks?

No, work on one 2 ft by 2 ft section at a time, wipe with a damp towel, then dry it before it sets. This keeps the finish streak-free even on large panels or in direct sun.

Is it easy to wipe off?

Yes, just a simple side-to-side wipe. No rolling or single-direction technique is required, unlike some other waterless washes.

How dirty can the car be before I use it

Any amount is fine. What matters is the type of dirt. Wash Wax ALL takes light dust through heavy grime with no rinsing. Mud, sand, and road salt are the exceptions: they're abrasive and scratch in any wash. Rinse those off first, then wash as usual.

Does washing without water scratch the paint?

Brian's uncle introduced him to flying, and seven-year-old Brian wanted more of it. The deal was simple: help keep the airplane clean, and you get to fly. There was no water at that little hangar, so his uncle taught him to clean it waterlessly. Wipe a section with a damp towel, then dry that same section with a dry one. Damp towel, dry towel.

New EPA clean water regulations put a stop to wet washing at the airport. Washing now had to be done on an EPA-approved wash rack, and most airports didn't have one, so aircraft and airport vehicles could no longer be washed anywhere on the airport. Brian knew a way, but a damp towel alone was never going to handle commercial aircraft and vehicles that were genuinely dirty. It needed a product behind it, and nothing like it existed yet.

In 1987, Brian invented the waterless wash. He pulled a solution together from libraries, chemists, and manufacturers, founding the company. A water-based waterless wash, safe for the vehicle and the person using it. He tried to engineer the damp towel out, just spray and wipe dry, two steps, not three. Testing proved he couldn't. The damp towel wasn't a step he could lose. It was the game changer. It lifts dirt up and away from the finish instead of dragging it across, cleaning more gently and effectively. It's the reason his waterless wash cleans a genuinely dirty car, not just light dirt.

If it could leave a protective coating behind while you washed, that changed everything. But the only spray wax at the time was petroleum-based and useless with a damp towel. So Brian developed the first water-based, spray-on wax, an invention in its own right, and blended it into his formula. Wash and wax in a single product, built around the damp towel method. No hose. It's safe on all exterior surfaces and all interior surfaces, which allows you to clean and protect both inside and out, so he added the word All to Wash Wax. For customers who still love a traditional wet wash, he developed the “wax as you dry” method using that same product: wash the vehicle, then spray it on as you dry it off. In the same amount of time it takes just to dry the car, it comes out completely waxed.

Brian invented and patented the Waterless Wash Wax Mop, the first waterless wash tool, putting the damp towel, dry towel method on a pole, no ladder, no climbing, no falls. He still owns the company, still flies his own airplanes and helicopters, and still tests the products on them. He invented the method, not just the product, and today waterless washing is an industry. It wasn't when he started it.
